The house
Casa Carmeli is one of the houses of the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus in Vogelenzang. We offer safe, comfortable apartments to seniors who wish to spend their years after working life as independently as possible.
Each apartment has its own kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. The estate is quiet and sheltered: there is room to walk along paved paths or further into the woods. There are shared rooms, including a library and a recreation hall.

We keep rooms free for guests, with breakfast in the morning.

Our mission
We carry Jesus in our hearts, and what we find there we bring out into the world — to the seniors in our house and to everyone who knocks at our door.
Carmel has always been an order of prayer. Our foundress, Blessed Maria Teresa of St. Joseph, asked something other of us than the enclosed life: prayer on the mountain, and work in the world below it. That is why you will meet us both inside and outside our house.
Calendar
Once a month, Holy Mass is celebrated in our chapel for the residents of Casa Carmeli.
